No, we work with a couple local processors for all of our processing needs.

DO YOU SELL GRASS FED BEEF?
No. Our cows are free to roam the pasture, however, we feed an old family grain recipe that we strongly believe in.

WHAT DOES DRY AGED MEAN?
A technique used in the beef processing where the beef hangs in a regulated area longer than what is typical. This longer process elicits more tender meat.

WHY IS MEAT SO MUCH CHEAPER AT A BIG CHAIN STORE?
Several reasons - We are a very small farm. Without giving our animals growth hormones, it takes more time and cost to feed them out. To keep a large grocery store stocked, the demand on the farmer is to produce as much as they can as fas as they can and the meat is processed differently. Often times to extend the amount of meat produced by one animal to continue to meet the volume demand by large stores, unnecessary fillers are added in processing.

Our meat has no unnecessary things added nor are we in any hurry to speed up the process of feeding our animals out faster just to meet demand.
